About the Symposium
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are honored to invite you to the 13th edition of the Young Medicinal Chemist Symposium (Nuove Prospettive in Chimica Farmaceutica, NPCF13). Usually the symposium is associated with the annual National Meeting in Medicinal Chemistry, but every third year is held alone; Florence will host the 13th edition. This meeting will bring together young people, from PhD students to researchers, coming from academia, research institutions and industries, sharing a common interest for all aspects of Medicinal Chemistry. Plenary lectures will be delivered by eminent scientists in this field, coming from Italy and other European countries (please follows the updates at the web site www.npcf13.unifi.it). By this way, the meeting will keep together experienced scientists and young, highly receptive researchers, and may be a valuable chance to present your Company and products.
NPCF13, originally scheduled on July 2020, has been postponed to April 2021 due to the Covid19 outbreak. However, the uncertain situation does not presently guarantee that on April 2021 it will be possible to held the congress on site with full attendance, due to safety considerations and probable travel limitations. Therefore, for the importance of this event for the Italian Medicinal Chemistry community, especially for young people, the 13th edition of NPCF will be organized as a virtual congress.
The meeting will be organized in four afternoons, from April 26 to April 29, 2021. The program will include Plenary and Keynote lectures, as well as oral and poster presentations; young researchers, from Italy and abroad, will have a great opportunity to present their research.
